I finished the next thriller in the series about detective Robert Hunter. This book raised my anxiety to such heights that at times I had to put the book away. The amount of detail that Chris Carter puts into his stories is amazing and very frightening.
The plot of The Caller is a good and surprising. As reader of the whole series its very clear that a lot of time has passed between the first book in this series and this 2017 story. The true reasoning behind the murders in this story only unfolds at the very end and I liked that as it was very different to what I was thinking all along. This Robert Hunter story is among the top 3 books Ive read in this series.
