I'm a by Chuck Klosterman called The Nineties and I'm having a bear of a time getting through it. The stories and events mentioned are interesting and often relatable and/or nostalgic since I grew up in the , but the writing is often kinda dry and boring that I can only read a chapter or half of a chapter before I have to do something else or I start to fall asleep.

Work is progressing much better now that chapter one is done. Now that I have a tone set and know where all the characters are at mentally, its easy to drop myself into the story and let the words flow.
For those that have followed for a while, you know I hand write (longhand) my first draft. Someone asked for a peek at my handwriting. If you can read it, good luck lol. Might get a slight hint at things to come to. Back to getting some words down.
