I think the plot is a revolution with the final victory occurring right after the talk with the big boss because the protagonist accidentally screens through a pod or room where the big boss was physically located.

Today's review! "Key Change" by Ari McKay:

"A multi-author series, all standalone books filled with amazing characters and a rock band theme. Your life is not your own, record labels own you, and you work long hours that leave you drained after a show. Yo always have to be on. 5 Stars."

The story of my second , "The Friendly Guide to Nuclear and Particle Physics in Modern Medicine", starts with student suggestions and a very encouraging publisher. It ends with the first step in a series of books intended to help the public and especially university-level students who just suffered through introductory physics (re)discover love for physics.

Finally acquired a copy of 's Re-Sisters, which I've been itching to get a hold of since this time last year. For those unaware, it's a parallel examination of and her own creative work. There's no plausible way that this isn't going to be a great book.

Review: The Old Nurses Story by Elizabeth Gaskell

The Old Nurse's Story is about a strict father and the rivalry between two sisters, due to excessive pride and its consequences that cannot be undone. I found it interesting that Gaskell decided to make the narrator a woman and that while the story revolves mostly around women, the first error that sets up the story in motion was made by a man.

Finally got around to sorting out the corner. I bought a couple of cube storage units and spent an hour pulling the collection out of various boxes. It was all rather therapeutic!

Ive worked in the industry for 15 years & 15 more in real estate. But at 49, I decided to change my life and write a book.

My wife & editor Elena is a saint. She told me 10 months ago that we'd need at least a year to finish the first in my series, and I told her not to spread negative vibes So I hope, two more months & we'll be there

The Fictional Dictionary of Bad Language

A collection of words that can safely be used when bad language is needed but real swearing is not acceptable.

The Fictional Dictionary (written by me) is a Kindle-only edition which means it is free to read for Prime members or 2 to buy to own. If you need some fictional swears for your NaNoWriMo setting, help yourself.

(2/2) WEIRDest People .
Some theories are plausible, like use of "normal" models for mental well being from limited sampling pools of many students from USA, UK and Europe but not from all world.

Some theories like country based choices over deferred gratification overlook fundamental cultural and social differences. People in countries like Rwanda with more poverty or conflict won't risk deferred payment. People in countries with social safety nets like Sweden can choose to wait.

I was keen to read The WEIRDest People in the World: How the West Became Psychologically Peculiar and Particularly Prosperous by Joseph Henrich

It was an interesting set of theories with a cherry-picked collection of facts to explain them. Writing seems driven by theory capture rather than asking questions for debate.

Worth reading first two chapters and skim reading the rest. Not worth a detailed read because of biases limiting greater relevance.

3/5 rating.

S Somanath had told NDTV in an exclusive interview that he had faced huge challenges in his career and hinted that his position in ISRO had been threatened and he could have been thrown out.

I Alien Protector ( 1/Vaxxlian Mates) by Sue Mercury. This short 55 page novella was perfect to help me shut off my brain for sleeping. Its a charming Christmas rescue of a stranded human from a planet where she was stuck.
