Indie review! OverLondon by George Penney & Tony Johnson:
"One of the most hilarious novels I have ever read. I love the quirky British humor, and the mix of politics, religion, crimes, science, pirates with steampunk, adventure and a suspenseful mystery."

People are testing my patience at . Sunday has become the Parade of Fools. The only thing keeping me sane is the memory of reading a 600 page trilogy. The chaotic political situation and looming battle was a backdrop for an unlikely romance: A Necromancer and Knight. The drama was juicy and believable given the situation they found themselves in. Another gay romance done and dusted...I might read the follow-up that's sold on the author's personal site.

When Sam Hall says that Forbidden Fruit ( 1/ The Wolfverse Dark Side) is dark, Sam is not joking. This is a straight up recitation of sexual harassment/assault of a girl 1 year pre-uni- barely 18yo. After of her home/school life with her step-brothers & oblivious parental units, I skipped forward to chapter 35 to find her in the same situation but 7 years older. The bros seem to have matured. Eventual HEA but yikes.

White Man Falling by Mike Stocks
Enjoyed this more as it progressed. Genuinely funny at times and the story of a man accidentally becoming a guru is very engaging and cleverly realised. The elements of the story set around an attempted arranged marriage I enjoyed less and I thought slowed it down a little. Overall a good read despite that.

A short memoir, Banking Bungles, has been accepted to the Bad Day Book Special Needs and Disability. To get review copies or, well, put in a interview request, see the bottom FAQs on this page. Mention my name and the Banking Bungles story if you wanna get me exclusively but this should be a fun anthology overall!
