One more make-of-the-year post: a for my friend Carly. I'd wanted to make one for like a decade and I finally had the chance.
Materials:
- wreath ring from Hobby Craft
- book pages from a fallen apart paperback (a Swedish Agatha Christie my MIL was throwing away)
- some thin copper wire
It's not super robust but I liked the result and more importantly, Carly loved it! A nice reuse of that were otherwise destined for recycling.

2024 was the year that I went back to working traditionally in a big way after decades of digital. Some of it was personal, some of it for my Dark Shepherd project and debut novel. Just another way modern are living dinosaurs!
