Unromance by Erin Connor was everything I love in a romance book. Everything. There was BANTER, there was YEARNING, there was FEET KICKING (on my end). I stayed giggling and twirling my hair the whole time I was reading this!! I love love loved the dynamics between Sawyer and Mason. The vibes were right and I really enjoyed this one.The room reeks of old, dead terrorand a brooding malevolence, as if the instruments of torture are merely biding their time. Just you wait, theyre saying.

In the midst of the global war on terror, Jack Debaut, a former US Army Ranger, is drawn into the shadowy world of espionage and covert operations after Desert Storm.
As he uncovers a dark conspiracy linking extermist groups to government, he must navigate a world where truth is elusive, trust is rare, and danger is ever-present.
Can he uncover the truth before it's too late
Finally read "It can't happen here" by Sinclair Lewis, the book everyone was talking about when Trump was first elected (it's been sitting on my shelf for years). I can certainly see the parallels, but I have to say, Buzz Windrip is way too articulate to be Trump.
It was a good read, though. It's certainly depressing that the author's insights into American society in 1935 are just as applicable today as they were then.
In todays post- Im asking how you conquer your to be read pile Are you super selective about what you read Do you use audiobooks Whats your strategy

Read book The Puerto Rican War: A Graphic History by John Vasquez Mejias this weekend. Unique, beautiful work- the author, an art teacher, took 10 years carving the -like into wood (!) in his spare time.

Book: Read This Before Our Next Meeting by Al Pittampalli Shared
One mediocre meeting after another quietly corrodes our organization, and every day we allow it to happen. Culture change occurs when a transformational idea spreads to enough people. Like a virus that makes its way from person to person, spreading exponentially faster, so can the Modern Meeting. The status quo must go. Now. Before its too late. 1. Meet only to support a decision that has already been made. 2. Move fast. End on schedule. 3. Limit the number of attendees. 4. Reject the unprepared. 5. Produce committed action plans. 6. Refuse to be informational. Read the memo, its mandatory. 7. Work with brainstorms, not against them. CUT THIS OUT AND BRING IT TO OUR NEXT MEETING.
