Jennifer Lynn Barnes is back with a new series, or book 4. Who knows at this point. But I loved every second! New puzzles with no repetition from the previous books and a whole new line of intrigue. Excellent 4 star book, it's good to be back!

Y'all, I started the "Very Fine People" before the election, and I had intended to finish it before November 6.
I didn't.
I just picked it back up today.
It is still amazing.
It speaks to so many issues that are going to be of even more concern as we transition into the petulant fourth graders in expensive suits turning our country into even more of a kleptocracy.
Highly recommended. It reads as if a (very smart and well-spoken) friend is speaking to you, and that friend has thought about these issues a lot, and that friend can talk about these issues in depth, without pandering, without talking down to you, all the while very gently pointing out the things that are wrong in the world but also the possible ways those things can be rectified. And the author is here on the Fedi!
