"Lost in the Funhouse" is John Barth's experimental stories collection (he calls it a cycle), which I found through AI chat "hallucinated" bullshit. It's interesting at times (especially, Ambrose's stories) and inspired me to think about a story where the main character knows he's the narrator of a story. Overall, however, I found it hard to get through and it reminded me of "Naked Lunch," which was a true torture to maul through. But I'm glad I read it.

This is a second part of the Poku's which shows a little bit of the work I do and shows the from the inside.
I like to use and thin to cover the inner side of the book. And I think these make it a bit and - and these aren't ordinary so this suits well.
If it's social, it's real.
After reading The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, I needed to read a fast-paced and lighter book to get me out a reading slump I felt myself falling into. The Nightingale is one of those books that will stay in the back of my mind for a really long time. It is so well written, and brought forward a side of WWII that is not talked about enough: womens efforts in the War while staying behind at home and dealing with the chaos brought on by war.Ch. 7 is up! I found that chemistry, even in the friendship context!!! Also, I was having trouble drawing out Mike's personality, and I think I finally hit on it during this one. Things are rolling. This is a good one!!!
Do your stories include maps A s map hints at a fully imagined world. At a 's beginning its a promise. In the middle, its a touchstone & a guide. At the end, a reminder of all the places the has taken you.
PREGAME: Will Phoenix Suns Rotation CHANGE After Ryan Dunn CONTROVERSY
I found "Woodcutters" difficult to read because the blistering bitterness of the narrator reminded me of the bitterness I see on here every day. Now I'm finding "Biography of X" stressful to read because of political parallels with the current moment. The problem is reality, not the books.
"...There is so much to this story. I can't wait to read it again to find more things that I missed the first time.Super read, it's on my top 3 books for this year...."

The Morgan Library - The Book of Marvels
"Several stories in the Book of Marvels reflects an interest in merchants, trade, and luxury goods. Such accounts often focus on the difficulties and dangers of acquiring precious materials such as gems or spices in faraway lands. A popular example relates to the origins of cinnamon, believed to come from the nests of the mythical cinnamologus birds of Arabia."

In 1966, Charlotte Beradts The Third Reich of Dreams exposed the terrifying effect of on the human mind. As a Jewish journalist in Nazi Germany, she documented how Hitlers regime controlled knowledge and instilled fear through propaganda. Her book reveals how societys paralysis deepens when truth is twisted, and information is manipulated.
Today, it feels eerily relevant. The warns us that ignoring these patterns leads to dangerous consequences.

Now that Ive learned more about the I recognize the language and project of the Unhumans to be aligned with the mission of that political movement. The demonization of progressives and progressive values along with a good versus evil framing are there, even if spiritual/Christian language may not be. Full disclosure I have not read the book and dont plan to.
