Read "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" the first book in the Oz series. The movie may be one of the best adaptions ever because this version feels like a first draft with plot points not quiet tied together like they could be. Still liked it though, look forward to the next one.

New side project! This week I am starting a little side project I doodle various designs, most of which will not make it into the main project. To bring them to life a little, rather than being forgotten, I am going to doing a short little narrative for selected doodles and flesh them out a little more.

SENSATIONAL WILD-WEST DETECTIVE yarn features the Holmes On the Range brothersa pair of cowboys turned sleuthsguarding a fossil dig in Wyoming with trouble not far behind. Brilliant return of these colorful characters in a sharp, twisty plot. A MINUS
The series never gets old and is always relevant.

British birds by Thorburn, Archibald -1860-1935-
Got this book from the library today, and it's fantastic! I had heard about the reintroduction of wolves in yellowstone Park before so I thought the kids might be interested. They loved it, despite it being quite wordy. Really well told and explained, especially for a book about environmental protection (which often seem a bit boring). Do yeah, I highly, highly recommend it!
I really love this book series ! They are extremely rich picture books, destined as much for children, than for adults. It is a joyful and emotional celebration of the Haida Culture and Community and an invitation to learn about the Skada Principles.
Baby Animals First is a board book series that I really love : the pictures are always beautiful and the text is always poetic and adorable. I love the animal diversity, and the fact that Alexandra Claire shares well known animals, but also rarer ones. It is the perfect read for little animal lovers ! There are currently six titles available : ABC, 123, Sounds, Shapes, Opposites and Colors.
Night Light is the perfect bedtime story book ! Inspired by the Zodiac and the stars, Jeanne K. Johnson created wonderful adventures full of courage, compassion and magic. Beautifully illustrated, the book contains six tales. It is the perfect addition to any fairytale and folktale s lovers library.

These are only a few of the I did cover art for, using , during 2014-2020. The real number is about 3x. Ah, these were the days.
That art profession of mine has died out though. Partly because of the of the industry in general, and because I had enough of it. I did all I could do with collage artistically, so I jumped into traditional-painted afterwards.I had zero success with illustration though in 4 yrs.

I saw this post doing rounds and it's got me thinking about copyright books where a similar situation can apply.
If a is out of print, so the only copies left are second hand (and are often hard to come by) then why should we have to wait 70 years from the author's death for it to come out of

I knew nothing about Berenyi before reading this book. I just had heard Lush's music and thought she looked cool back in the day. It was well written and very frank about her life.
